In this Phase, we are building the app that will bring us together with mutual understanding.
Phase 2: Communities
In phase 2, we will be working with your local and virtual community leaders to enhance the app’s functionality so that your community can become better connected. Also, we will be exploring ways to make CivilSpeak available to those who currently do not have access.
Phase 3:
Sister Cities
In Phase 3, with your community better connected, CivilSpeak will actively work to establish Sister City relationships between your community and another select community around the globe. More is to be determined about this approach, but registering through the United Nations Sister City program is a good option. The concept is that by establishing focused community to community relationships through CivilSpeak, you and your community will be able to play a part in global citizenship through meaningful connections. As an example, if your sister city is experiencing flooding, you can be there to offer help and concern. Conversely, if your town experiences tragedy, it will be nice to know another town is thinking of you as well. The opportunities to enrich the lives in your community with regular and focused interaction with your sister city could also help prevent humanitarian disasters and provide all the good things that only a good friendship could bring. The possibilities are only limited to our creativity and the good that humanity can discover!
